That setup is very fast. I was unnecessarily concerned about the weight.

I debated about Eye Placement. But ducks, and Rubber duckies have eyes on their sides. (prey)

Was aware of the prey aspect. Thinking more of most cartoon ducks that have eyes forward on head. 3/4 view does show them well so disregard.

I literally flew the motors off this bird.
It's worth the repairs. 6S full-tilt flying is a bit much I suppose.

Motors firewalls are remounted with strapping tape. And the duck bill has been patched where the prop got hungry, and the nose in took a toll.

Maybe re-launch tomorrow

Fair point. When I rebuild with one engine maybe.

I also retouched the paint. the Re-maiden was very successful. It makes a noise (not a quack)... not sure if it's a tap flap, or a motor bearing, or something else. it's a bit squirrelly for FPV, but it would be fun.

My son did a Kwak. He liked the other designs here so he copied them and added a mallard head.

This is the single motor version, but combined with the aileron straight wing. It also has the updated pontoons and longer power pod. I thought it would be under powered, but it does just fine. It has more lift than I expected!

It flies great on snow! I love the big fat single track it leaves in the snow.

We didn’t catch his smoothest landing, but it handled it nicely!
