Thank you for the pics. I'll be using an aluminum spar sandwiched in the foam spars like nerdnic. Plan to use 1/16 x 1/2 the full length of the spar. hope it works. I'll weigh it after I cut it to length.

Good deal! The latest plans for the duck actually call for plywood spars as well if you download them. Be sure to post some pics. You will like the plane and how it flies.
