B.P.C. '22 Practice build: DO 28

Decided to do a few practice builds in preparation for next year's Bush Plane Challenge.

First one is the DO 28

I was going for a "mighty mini" style FPV build with this one. Was trying to keep it light and simple, well, at least I was at first! lol

Testing and tuning has led to an increasingly complex aircraft. Flaps, separate Flapperons, Leading edge slats, differential thrust...

This is a fun build but I think it would work much better if I scaled it up and since that wasn't the goal here I'm going back to simple and light for V3.

Back the the drawing board!

haha, thanks, the rest were after about 20 fairly rough landings (if you could even call most of them that! lol)

I may try my hand at making some plans if she turns out. The next one's going to be quite a bit more refined.
I'm more of a ruler and a pencil builder myself. I never use a computer to do any scratch building.

I'm a bit of the same when designing, however I sometimes like to build other peoples build using plans.
