Brute Simple Low Cost Combat Design

I ran across this and thought it would be great to try something similar as my first blank slate build. I can't really find any documentation of the design:

Maybe as an inline twin for redundant power?

Servos on the bottom of KFm3 wing?

Thoughts on sizing motor and props or any other improvements welcome. Critical comments welcome too, esp. if helpful.

TBH, I think there are better designs with a proven track record here in resources but there is only one way to find out if this is what you want to do! I never liked working with that blue foam. It's very light, but now very strong. An inline twin may not keep it together very long.

No doubt there are better. I was just struck by raw simplicity (crudeness might be another word) of it.
I wouldn't want to drive a Lotus Super 7 every day, but the experience of blasting around the track was worthwhile.

Distilled essence of flying from the bathroom vending machine at a dive bar, if you like. Plus, I really like that that tail. Who doesn't want superposed elevators?

How good or bad it was (or is?) I don't guess I will ever know. I was curious how certain issues were addressed, but the designer has declined to talk to me

I sat down and sketched something out last night. It's got influence from half dozen designs and the box tail from this thing.
