CONCERN: Versacopter V2 with vertical ESC pins on a Naze32

Hey guys,

I hope someone can answer this for me. I have very recently started getting into multirotors and fell in love right away thanks to the youtube videos from Flitetest. My first quad was a 3D printed V-tail ( http://www.thingiverse.com/make:197915 ) and I soldered the ESC pins using the vertical connector because of the limited space inside.

MY CONCERN: When watching Josh's oneshot versacopter build video, I noticed he used the 90 pin adapter. So my question is does anyone know will the versacopter work with vertical pins on a Naze32? If not is there a way to remove the vertical pin solder so i can re solder on 90 pins?

Flitetest crew if you are reading this, keep up the good work. You have inspired me to get back into the hobby and have helped me get up and flying quickly.

Yes there are several methods to de-solder pins and components. If they are thru hole mounted a simple solder sucker tool will work. If they are furface mount it will as well but its easier with something called solder braid. It is exactly what it sounds like. copper wire in a flat braid you put over a solder joint and reheat to "wik" the solder off the component and into the braid. You can get it easily at radio shack or on the internet of one isn't available. Its a must for any hobbyist doing any kind of solder work.
