I finally finished it!! sorry that I haven't updated since October, but what with school and other things piling up, this project got put on the back burner. But I have been working on it little by little (sorry, no pictures of it being built), and have finally finished it!

As you can see I decided against any form of landing gear for three reasons: First, because one of the main reasons for making this a mini-size plane was to make it portable (I strap in on a backpack and bike to where I fly, because I can't drive); second, because I hardly ever fly where landing gear on this size plane would do any good (long grass); and third, I really don't like the look of a warbird flying with its undercarriage out (that is nothing more than my opinion).
All things considered (this being my first design, and only my third scratch build, etc.), I think that this went pretty well. There is still snow on the ground here, so I will not be maidening it tomorrow. However, I hope to maiden it before or during this weekend. Hopefully I won't crash it on takeoff
P.S. If you guys have any tips on painting it, I would be glad to hear them. So far I have used Permanent marker and spray paint (on an old speedster) and both methods worked well, but i am open to other methods of painting too.
