In this Thread I will mostly post pictures because the built was as described in the built of the Spitfire.
I also want to inspire people in building their own planes and in this case... pictures talk more than thousand words.
HAPPY BUILDING! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
Starting with a plan and the skeleton of the fuselage.
Adding the elecrtonic parts (the same as in the Spitfire) and attaching the lower bodysides.
Building the wingpieces.
Attaching the wing to the fuselage and adding the elevator, as well as covering the upper wing.
a quick size comparisson with my Spitfire.
covering the ailerons. The connection of the ailerons is made via 2 small pieces of epp between the rips of the wing and the ones in the ailerons.
Doesn't look that bad does it? Ok now the fuselage... adding the upper bodysights.
Here a quick TIP!!! always use some paper template in order to correct some messurement mistakes whithout loosing material...
Here is a quick example!!!
Ok let's have a look at the finished fuselage...
I like it... But... where is the color??? Ah there it is -->
Where goes the Battery? there goes the Battery:
Aaaaaaannnddd last but not least... the landing gear: (cause every plane needs one )
This plane is a bit havier than the last one (around 140g) but it flies smooth as hell. I LOVE IT!!!
If you have any questions and or suggestions for improvement make sure to comment .
Very nice, I like your build style! Where are you getting the plans or are you making them? I love the FT Spit but want to add some more true shape to them like yours.
Thanks
@Rokcrln: Thank you . Im playing War thunder and there i can see the planes in 3D so i can make my own plans of the model. I also like the FT Spit but I think epp is way stronger in case of crashing...
@philgabanski: Thanks mate. This little bird flies with an Hacker A05-10s with an 5A ESC that brings up around 150 g of thrust wich is enough to fly normal but not powerful enough to fly crazy 3D maneuvers.
