DIY 50mm EDF Grunjet

OK so I added the vid to the first post. What do you all think? It is my first time really editing anything.

Like the plane. looks like a great first EDF for me. Still looks like disaster is about a 1/4 second ahead of skill (mine) (working on it). Loved the video especially the music.

I'm just making sure I printed the plans correctly. The wing (span) just fits on a sheet of DTFB?

All most finished with the jet. One question though. What do I do with the esc pod ?

The Edf pod wraps around the EDF and then you glue the Thrust tube to the EDF pod.

I've added the updated plans to the first post, they're now have an updated format which is much better than the previous set of plans. They also include the option to build the plane with a V tail!!

I have a spare 64mm EDF (Freewing) that I would like to use. Should I just modify the EDF Tube and Mount, or scale the plans by some factor?

It'd be easier to just modify the thrust tube and mounts, it can handle the extra weight so just modding the thrust tube won't bring up any issues.

There's no reason to keep it off, I just never got around to trying one. I say go for it!!

I like my 50mm grunjet enough that I upscaled it for my 70mm! This one is gonna have a 38" span and hopefully flies as well as the little one

Finished mine. It is completely stock and flies really good. Easy airplane to build too!
