I recently downloaded files for a 50mm EDF F16. It’s a really simple model - no internal structure - you just print single walled with 3% gyroid infill. Amazingly it seems to work pretty well. Control is via tailerons glued directly to the servo control horns, which sounds pretty sketchy but so far is working fine!
Mine is scaled up for a 64mm fan, and it’s pretty fast with more than enough power. Weight RTF with a 2200mAh is just over a kilo - print material is Colorfabb LW-PLA. As it seems to fly pretty well I’m going to paint it and add a layer of fibreglass on the bottom to give it a bit more resilience for hard landings.
