It seems to be pretty under powered honestly. I need to keep like 60-70% throttle to keep it level lol. Other than that it flies great!

Wow, I didn't know you could do that! I was trying to add it to the folder manually and that didn't work. Thank you for saving me from going crazy!

Phoenix RC is no longer sold. Here's a post about it with a download link (abandonware) for Phoenix RC 5.5. You will still need to buy a dongle, if you've never owned Phoenix RC.

Many additional FliteTest models for Phoenix created by @rickp are indexed here!​

To install:

  • Click the link below for the plane you want.
  • Unzip filename.zip to C:\Users\Richard\Documents\PhoenixRC\Downloaded\Models\User-made\Airplanes folder. (Remove the space in Mo dels if you see one. Its not there in edit view)
  • In PhoenixRC click Model > Change > Airplanes > Electric
    Optionally click Model > Change, at the top left Select Sort by: Manufacturer and you will see a Flite Test category!
  • Select the plane you want and fly!

Simple Scout Info
Unzip and install the attached pkg file as a Phoenix update and you'll find "Simple Scout" in the electric list.

Ok I downloaded phoenix, updated to 6.0.i and followed these instructions
but it still wont detect my radiomaster boxer, any ideas how to fix it?

have you done the mini pietenpol as a pkg file for phoenix sim can't seem to find it anywhere thank you for a great job
