Flugtag 2017 suggestion

If the Flite test crew is planning on returning to Flugtag to defend its 2016 title,
how about building a plane using the Flite test signature construction material:
water resistant foam board
as a major ingredient in the design?

How better to showcase the qualities and construction methods of flying using
foam?

I don't think that would be strong enough. Foam board is so thin. It would take so much extra reinforcement to make it strong that it would be very heavy. I do understand why it would be cool though. Maybe they could pull it off. That would be awesome! Anyway that is just my opinion about it. Welcome to the forums by the way! I saw that this is your first post. Happy flying!
