My first build was great fun and easier than I expected. I mounted my Mobius Action Cam on the top in front of the servos, because I noticed my wings flexing a lot. I added rubber bands to the tips and attach under fuselage. This shows how much they STILL flex , probably normal but was a surprise to me. I can't say enough great things about this site, has changed my whole R/C flying experience.

Wow that's awesome dude! I'm glad you like it! And yeah that's quite some flex, I wouldn't have expected that. Does the paper look crushed/dented (or how do you say that?) or is the paper on the foamboard still pristine? It looked like the paper gave up at some point in your video.

you need to strengthen your center joint

I've seen FT flyers with a spar on top of the wings. IIRC it was the old non-swappable version. That might help more than the rubber bands.

How did they get that spar secured to the outter wing? just ram it through the foam?
