Kingbee,
So you had a bad experience and hate Hobby King. That's OK.
I prefer to order parts from US (local) suppliers when I can and when the price is reasonable. I love to see new, local sources for the stuff I need. But when when I can't get what I need from anywhere else, or when the price is unreasonable locally, I'll turn to Hobby King. I try to order from the US warehouse first of course, but when I have to order from the Hong Kong warehouse, I take into consideration the length of time it will take to ship. If I need the item right away, I'll pay the extra amount to get it locally. But if not, I'll go for the cheaper price and expect to wait.
No amount of ranting from anyone will convince me to do otherwise.
I understand that when I order from any source outside my own country, that I may be disappointed, and may even lose my payment. That's the risk I choose take. If I get cheated, I'll mark that supplier off my list, report my bad experience to the forum, and move on.
