Mini Aero scout Good or bad?

Hey guys. I recently bought the full size aero scout and after it being to fast and landing in Lake Michigan I decided I should try it's little brother.
Can anyone vouch that it's a good plane? I've been seeing mixed reviews but I think some of them are because they had the transmitter on low rates.

They don't do that well in wind , more of a floaty plane. I had one with ailerons as an early plane. I have a scaled up Simple Scout and it is an awesome flyer.

Are you talking mini scout? It’s a good plane, I put tape on the bottom of the wing, from the front to back, it helps with the airfoil.
