Hi Everyone I'm working on right now a multi rotor and I didn't know how many channels do I need for a quad and how many do I need for a tricopter do I need more channels for each motor? I'll be glad if you can send me a E-mail with a answer my E-mail address is zkornbluth@gmail.com

You only need four channels for any tricopter, quadcopter, hexacopter or octocopter you build. Check out this guide:

True with simple controllers (original KK boards) and for basic flight functions (Pitch, Roll, Yaw and Throttle) you only "NEED" 4 channels, but If the controller offers additional capabilities then more channels are required for that functionality. Example: KK2 can use a 5th channel for enabling self level. Other controllers offer many more functions that DO require at least a 5 channel radio and receiver and sometimes more (I use 7 channels for my APM2 controllers).
