Question 1. Those little green plastic things in the bag of green props (prop adapters?) there's not a perfect size one for my prop saver that came with the motor. Do I need to drill one out to fit?
Question 2. I need control rod and landing gear wire. Where's the best place locally to get that stuff. I hear the term "piano wire" a lot. Where do I get that, like a Marshals craft store, Home Depot, music store, or gotta be a hobby store. Not a real close hobby store to me.
Question 3. Really more of a "forgot to order issue". I need to get some of those adjustment thingies that go on the servo arms to adjust the control rods. Looks like I might have to find a way to get to a hobby store after all...

That's all I have left to do.
... And I glued the wings on upside down.
In my defense, the video Josh did of the build is... In my opinion... A little misleading. Here's a screen grab of the video where he glues the wings and uses the flight pod as a spacer:
Don't tell anyone but I built my wings inside out on the FT Spitfire. I just went ahead and left them that way but I reinforced the cracks in the wings with hot glue. Hahah.
Whenever I make a triangle airfoil, I do exactly that. I leave the cracks exposed by folding it over "inside out" and then fill in the gaps with hot glue. If anything you end up with a hot glue spar that way.
Hub Hobby is a good LHS in Little Canada, MN that's about 25 miles from Hudson, WI. They have all the K&S Engineering music wire and other supplies you'll need. The K&S music wire isn't by the RC stuff in the store though, it's on the other side of the store by the diecast models and train stuff.
LM
...and it's good to hear that I'm not the only one around here that makes mistakes... I mean learning opportunities.
I like hobbylinc, they have pretty good prices, lots of sizes, and ship really fast.Question 2. I need control rod and landing gear wire. Where's the best place locally to get that stuff.
