Radiomaster TX16s Spectrum probs

HI There, just got a second hand Radiomaster TX16s and need to do homework. I bind to Futaba = no problems, I bind to Spectrum = all sorts of problems, aileron on elevator, only one ailerons working even with a Y lead, Servos sluggish. Who can advise me on the best teacher on youtube or any other platform to learn what to do?

aileron on elevator
that sounds like a channel mapping issue (spectrum maps channels differently by default then many other systems) - IIRC there is a setting to enable/disable remapping in the radio to make the sent channels match spectrum's "defaults"
only one ailerons working even with a Y lead
that sounds like a a bad servo (I would test with a servo tester, to make sure)
Servos sluggish
Again, I would suggest testing with a servo tester here to make sure the servo is good, beyond that the only setting that I know that could make something feel like that is a channel delay setting (something that rate limits changes on a channel - I suspect mostly used for things like retractable gear, so you can put it on a switch, but it still limits how fast the servo changes position).

One situation I have seen cause something like this is an underrated BEC, so that when the servos move, it browns out causing the servos to be somewhat unresponsive [and I have even seen it restart the RX] (in fact this could explain many of your issues other then the mapping miss match).

@JasonK Thanks I did do the servo tester test and all works fine. I am using the planes for sloping so there is no motor or ESC. The setup should be easy as can be but is still an issue. My Delta wind setup of Futaba is great but the Spectrum does not work even if i copy the model and change the Protocol. I have too many planes with spectrum so I would like to get the Rx sorted. I have even flashed the Rx with the latest software but still in the dark. I will hang in there to se if there is any light. Thx again.

The issue with the Y lead certainly has nothing to do with the radio or receiver. The Y lead just sends the positive and negative 5v and the PWM signal to both servos. It’s the same signal. So if one of the servos doesn’t work, then it has to be either that servo or the Y lead itself. If you swap the servos on the Y lead and the problem follows the servo, then it’s a bad servo. If the problem doesn’t follow the servo, then it’s a bad Y lead.

I had a similar problem with a FlySky Rx, the elevator was sluggish.

After considerable testing & trouble shooting, it turned out to be a bad Rx. All of the other channels worked as expected but channel 2 was sluggish.

Sometimes you just need to keep swapping components and testing until you find the bad thing.
