I have two blue wonder style motors that seem to run a little rough. If I hold the stem of the motor and run them up I can feel them sort of missing from time to time. The stem also gets very warm to the touch. I thought the timing on the esc needed to be adjusted but I have a dx6 and it doesnt let me begin with the throttle on high setting. Not sure what to do with all this. Help!

You should be able to calibrate and your program your ESCs with a DX6. Are you powering your tx, raising the throttle to full and then powering the rx/esc?
Then lower the throttle after the beep(s). May have to check your ESC instructions to calibrate and program as they are all different.
