I think you're confusing yards, feet, and meters

When converted to common units, Coverite fabric comes out to about $4.67 per foot, while Solartex is about $3.57 per foot.

Good point, some rolls are marked as LF and others are by the yard. I looked at a bunch of options, colors available, price per LF, texture, etc and settled on the Solartex. I'm "frugal", but wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
