Finally got the CG correct on my Swift and repaired the a small bend in the wing and vola. A fun plane to fly however I thinkmy power set up is a bit weak and could use a sugestion for a little more speed. So if you own feel free to give me a link or tell me what your power set up is
Enjoy Oh and hold on to your lunch its a roller coaster
Bonze-
I haven't ever flown a swift but the 32 inch wings we fly do well with a fc2812 motor and a 1300mah 3s battery and 7x6 apc clone prop.
These little motors can be had from HobbyKing for about six bucks when they are in stock.
PlaneInsaneRC.com and HeadsupRC.com (both in the states) also keep them in stock for around 10 bucks...
We love these little motors. They can be rewound if you manage to smoke one.
Do good strain relief on the motor leads and locktite the mounting screws and it helps a bunch.
It'll take a 21 oz plane straight up. Not unlimited, but good vertical performance
