Ok, starting on some landing gear. Somewhat copying my mount I did on the AN-2 , recesses into the foam and it just has a slot in it and is set at a 30 degree angle forward. Wire is bent into a square and friction fit into the slot and then when I add the skis the rear legs wire is just a smaller square and slides in after the front leg. Really I don't need another set of skis put together I would be able to just swap them over from the AN-2 in a matter of seconds but I do have another set of skis so I just need to bend some wires.

How did you build the skis, they look big, almost the size of floats

Do you have plans for the skis? Looks awesome

Ok, Skis are about 12" long ( just because :D ) , so the main rib is out of 3/32 plywood and once you get them cut and sanded trace out your foam ribs. The skis that are on Shrubby have 5 foam ribs and on Annie it has 6 so just a little wider. The square braces/washers are out of 1/32 plywood. I offset those into the foam slightly so they distribute some force to the bottom of the ski. No holes required yet just glue all the ribs and washers together with the main plywood rib in the center. For the bottom (part of the reason for 12" length) I had a sheet of 1/64" plywood which was 12" long :D . Cut 2 strips the right width and glue them on. You could use a smooth slippery plastic from a milk jug or something like that instead. Once everything was all cured and I figured out what wire size I was going to use I drilled the holes. I did actually cover the bottom with wing tape which seems to be really slippery and it has stuck to the plywood really good.

So then the front and rear wire struts slot into the same pocket in the fuse, unlike two separate pockets for the FT floats?
Yep, I think my front wire top marks were at 25mm apart and 20mm tall and on the rear wire 20mm apart and 15mm tall so it fits into the front one.

Well I snuck out for 2 quick flights today, tested out Shrubsmacker with his new skis, was doing great until I tried to see how slow she would fly and some quick tip stall ended it's day, minor fix to the wing tip is all I need to do. She is sporting her winter camo :D :D

Camera angle was much better, great flight!!
If it's tip stalling try adding some vortex generators or moving the battery forward a little bit.

LOL, I didn't zoom in as much this time to allow for more camera angle error :D .

Just right when I went to go really slow, it happened pretty quick and being only a couple feet off the ground no room to gather it up. I was going with the wind too. I didn't put on any of the vortex generators, hmmmm.

Should be ready to go by tomorrow, it's suppose to be +6 but they are also calling for 60k winds :)
