FS = Full-Size: 34 x 22 non-tiled plans (fits ANSI D and ISO A1, requires a large format plotter)​

Are we ever going to get the simple still plans, I crashed and would love to have the fuselage to make a new one, because the wing is still good.

It has been month since it said coming soon. Would buy them if possible.

This is going to come off as insensitive and rude, and I apologize for that in advance. The simple stick plans are up in the air if they will EVER come out, so please just drop it. THere is other sticks that you can build and will fly awesome. In the case of @mderman I would recommend using the JB simple stick wing and just reshaping your wing saddle. Rant over. Just tired of seeing the forums flooded with people asking for them

Not an issue, I just felt that something should be said to keep the simple stick questions off of Sponz's thread. Honestly the JB stick is identical in every single way. They may even be the same plane tbh

Yes, I totally understand where you’re coming from - ft has said they will always offer free plans, but things change and now with the purchase of a golf course and trying to keep local hobby shops going they have to change what they are doing. There’s always the stick I designed or the JB stick, and @Niez13 designed a fantastic zero, all of which have free plans currently! And like @SP0NZ said it was never stated that plans will never be available - chances are there will still be free plans after a while. It would be nice for a formal announcement from flitetest about what they are planning on doing though.

Very, very similar, but not identical. The @JUSS10 JB Simple Stick is the closest community design to the FT Simple stick though as far as I can tell.

If you want to try something bigger, the FB Flitestick by @hotwax is truly amazing. I have built several and they are absolutely fantastic.

One other thing to think about.. The recent findings of a few scumbag companies using and SELLING the free plans to many of their designs. Not even changing them AND flat out saying they are in fact FT plans from the get go.

I know if I did all that work and made the effort to put things out for a community I would be taking a step back and fix that issue in some way first. Maybe go back and get the copyright process taken care of somehow. I know that isn't cheap nor quick to happen but it is in the end their intellectual property and as people have stated they are now a fairly good size company that needs to protect its interest and holdings.

It cant just be all about the me me me any more. By me me me I mean you.

To me this is the most reasonable request and I wonder why it has not happened since the business appears to have changed directions more than the customer base. Is this an unreasonable expectation?

Then the line won't be able to trigger anyone anymore, and this thread can go back to praising Sponz. "For he's a Jolly good fellow....that nobody can deny!

Or people could simply check a set plans and see they are not available or posted and go hrmmm.. not ready yet. Maybe Ill just move on to another set to fill the gap in my build schedule and not be a drama queen adding to an already frustrated community.

maybe convert some of the other versions of the plans in your excellent format...so we in the UK can use the a4 print facility ??...just a thought !!
