Space Ship 2 - for fun

Ok I am home sick and working on my vector art skills today. Someone on the FB page brought up Virgin Galactic's Unity(ie:SpaceShip Two). so I dew up some "plans". They are works in progress with little detail and a lot of "you figure it out" but I give them freely to anyone wishing to give it a try. notes are on the PDFs. Remember I am bad at the drawing of plans still and I am on cold medicine. so your milage may vary wildly.

Well I printed and cut out plans. Wing is SMALL so I split it and I’ll see about a carry through spar or two. Will make EDF easier to mount. This likely a brick with a big motor......😀

Parts are cut out. Going to bed in hopes of going to work tomorrow but we'll see. Depending on weight I may dial back the EDF to 50 or 64 mm. Wing loading could get very high, but hey, why not.....

Well didn’t go to work today but I’m going back tomorrow. So here is where it’s at today. Cockpit is the intake and cheater on the bottom. 50mm fan and elevons which may or may not have enough authority.

No idea what AUW will be wing loading is high. May end up being a dropped glider like the real thing.
Oh the wings are about 20% larger than scale.

Well other than tightening up everything one last time preflight it is ready to fly. Still not sure but worth a try. Got to wait for wind to get less than hurricane force to try out😀

Yeah but I have a slightly over weight less aerodynamic version with an edf and no drop vehical. Far less likely to succeed until I air drop or redesign ( which is already in progress😉
