That's cool, but what I use is some plastic packaging hot glued to the sides and bottom with holes drilled in them for the skewer.

I started making all of my power pods out of the heavier Elmers foam board instead of the DT board and have been very pleased with the durability and strength as compared to the DT pods. It adds very little overall weight and holds up way better. Just another thought.
