Wake up! Time to fly!

I've tried ordering a medium black coffee at Startbucks, and it's just confusing for everyone. I don't know what all those words mean, so I stay home.

I went to Starbucks once.... when I asked the kid at the counter for a large black coffee and he looked at me like I farted in his face. I knew it wasn't for me right then and there. He actually went and got the manager because NO ONE knew what a simple large black coffee was. The even manager kept asking me what I wanted in it as well. I guess the concept of KISS isn't in their company mantra.

Agreed. Nothing makes me feel more like an old uncool guy than not being able to order coffee. And I'm only 40!

Coffee at home probably costs me 10 cents a cup anyway.

I make a month and a half worth of coffee at minimum one pot a day for the cost of ONE Starbucks.. People who frequent Starbucks are just poor at math and easily fooled it seems.

trendy convenience sells. I know, they were my go-to for close to a decade. Venti Pike's Place with Peppermint and room for cream.

Its STILL bad math at minimum... Just saying. You can just as easily put all that junk in your coffee at home AND you don't have to tip yourself for doing that job.

If I find myself needing a coffee from Starbucks (because there's one right in front of me wherever I go) I tell them I'd like a medium coffee in a large cup. They get a blank look, so I tell them I don't speak the language, I'd like a medium coffee in a large cup please.

"Grande" doesn't mean "small"!
