Thanks @The Hangar. EDF version is going together now. Will post some progress picks tomorrow.
Which prop? I was flying it with the C-pack motor / 3s 1300mah battery and 9x6 prop. I got a venom 4s 2200 that’s going in there this weekend.

I used a 9x6 sport prop from APC. (I almost put a 9x8 prop on it too)
Sweet - looking forward to the EDF version! If it flies good, I might make an EDF version! I actually have a 70mm edf on order and @Wildthing made plans for a flipped fuse simple stick that might as well be an EDF stick...
I used a 9x6 on mine today. Even with the added weight of floats, on the radial C pack it still had unlimited vertical on a 1500 3s. On my maiden of the green one, I used a B pack and an 8x8 prop and it flew very nice but not overpowered.
Well today I maidened my "April showers challenge" simple stick. It was an absolute blast flying off of the water! Here's the thread and maiden video:

Cool. Mine is a 50mm and has lots of thrust even with the 3s 1300. Here are two pics of progress. Nothing permanently glued in yet. Gonna add the wings and move the EDF around to see where it best sits for easy CG placement without having to add too much nose weight. I also shortened the rear fuselage by 1”.

Great video and nice hovering. I'm really amazed at how well this plane design flies. Best flying plane I've built so far.

Should work, might just need to lower the bottom and widen the fuse a bit .
