Well it’s been quite a while. I’ve been away for a bit but I’m getting back on it haven’t posted anything but have built a few models. This is just what I’m working on now it’s based off of Maxflairts cougar but I’m using different plans and at a smaller scale. I ordered 1/8 tansuper sport rubber from JH aerospace. I’m not sure how much to use for this model it only has a 15 inch wingspan so I’ll have to figure that out.

It’s been a pretty quick build only about three or four hours put into it. I’m excited to do the covering been getting pretty nifty with tissue and I’m excited to try some new colors.

I’ve heard they fly pretty good i’m really excited to throw this one up. I ordered 1/4 inch rubber and I’m not sure how much to use. What do you think?
Oh, it's been soooooo long. I think for peanut scale I've used 2 loops of 3/32" x 120% the length. For 1/4", a single loop @ 120% the fuse length should do it.

Thanks so much! i’m kind of at a troubling point in the project I’m not really sure how to do the covering I have yellow and black. What do you think?

So here’s a question I’m sure someone will know the answer. how do I print tissue? The actual air frame to all my models are per plan but I always screw up the covering. I’ve been thinking about printed tissue but don’t actually know how to do it.

Another late night at the desk. I wasn’t very happy with the covering so I decided to tear it down and finish tomorrow. also took apart most of the rear fuselage. I noticed that it was bending in on itself without any covering so I decided that I’m going to revise the plans tomorrow. other than that I made a spinner and some wheels so just like my Piper model, it will only look good finished? 🤞
