Consider options like the Flysky FS-i6 or the Radiolink AT10II. They offer good features without breaking the bank. What specific features or improvements are you looking for in your upgrade?

I believe the Turnigy tgy-i6 is a rebranded Flysky FS-i6. The Flysky is a good BASIC radio with limited channels, mixing etc, but adequate for what it does.

The Radiomaster TX16S with its multi-protocol capability allows you to keep your i6 receivers as well as other receivers or many planes that come with "toy" transmitters. It is a great device with ongoing development such as edgetx and Express LRS. Opentx is still valid if you don't want the touch screen. There is a lot of YouTube support as well as RC Groups for the Radiomaster TX16S.

+1 on the Raidomaster. I chose the black & white one over the color screen one. It works just as well & I saved $100.
