After thinking about this a little more, I think I need a combat plane in addition to the Sopwith Baby I'll be using for intercept purposes. A seaplane with floats is going to get eaten alive in the combat sessions after the escort missions.
Can I get a Baby Brit done up in this color scheme?
Green for the top of the wing and hstab, and yellow for the bottom.
Use the standard US roundel on the upper and lower wings.
And this version of the Indian Head insignia.

Yep, that's Rickenbacker colors going on my Baby Brit. Hat in the ring!

I'm mostly a miniquad flier, so if there are slots open on the FPV lineup and I can get in, I'll try filming. I've been working on chasing planes the last couple of weeks as it's my favorite type of flying.
I'll be sharing this post with some of the guys I'm going to FF16 with, bringing a whole crew.

Looks great!
Built my banger for practice. Just have to do last 3 solders on power system. Getting skins on the final tomorrow just didn't have the straight-edge-cutting-tool thing.

Wow these are amazing. I think its awesome that Rasterize is putting all this effort in to help everyone. The ones that have been posted so far are incredible. Seems there are a lot of skilled builders here as most of these planes look perfect even after skinning. I haven't seen any lumps or folds on these at all so far.
You sure you guys wanna crash n bash these? They seem to pretty to do that to. On the other hand this will make for one unbelievable video when all these are in the air at the same time. Wish I could go. I'm not AMA member so flying would be out of the question but I would have about a bazillian pics as well as a bunch of video if I could.

I'd like to request a Baby Brit in Frank Luke's SPAD XIII colors. A Medal of Honor winner, "Arizona Balloon-Buster" was the United State's leading ace at the time of his death. Luke Air Force Base was named in his honor.
