No you don't need any special controller. The V-tail is controlled by a single rod tied to both surfaces and one servo.

I'm really struggling with figuring out how to mount the elevator servo. Could someone please share a picture of how you have yours installed?

It is for standard DTFB (Adams Readi-Board) which is 4.5 - 5.0 mm

i am trying to build this plane, with 5mm thick foamboard. I couldn't able to seat the 9g elevator servo inside the fuselage, as there is no enough space.
As an immediate solution i placed this servo perpendicular to the fuselage by cutting-out in the centre of fuselage just above the CG location.
Now,I need to look into aileron servo.
