Little more work tonight. Designed a 3D printed battery tray with some brackets so I can use a strap plus velcro and the velcro is then glued onto the plastic so it shouldn't peel off.

Also decided against using the back wheel setup just so there is no force on the rudder when I land softly so I added a little extra foam as the skid.

Then for the landing gear another 3D printed piece which will sit flush to the bottom of the plane, the wheel setup is a spring loaded friction fit and even in a crash won't come out :D

And here she sits on her new legs, getting close to be maidened, I think I will paint it after it flies. :)

Why do you have a skid-steer loader/bobcat in your garage?

I did go out to the field yesterday and tried to maiden the Extreme but a slight mishap, just as it started to lift off I think it bounced slightly and the prop hit the ground breaking the collet and motor mount. The break on the motor mount was a nice clean break and I thought about doing surgery and replacing the whole mount but opted to cut out a 3/16 plywood piece . It is epoxied and ca glued in, I hope it is strong enough.
