@bwarz this was my first scratch design. Flew like a dream until the elevator servo jammed...

One motor arrived today for the Mini Mossie, I got two packages but the other one was a servo reverser I forgot I ordered.

They're a bit funky. I have two options, the first is to make mine not swappable and build the power pod around this particular motor, the final plans will be swappable of course. The second option is to ream out the prop hub so it screws directly to the motor. They came with spares so I can risk the second and still have a prop.

Its weird how they have such a huge motor shaft

getting there. 30" wingspan weighing in at 380g with a 1550 3s. was going to use 9g servos for the h and v, but might switch to 3.7g. cg surprisingly balances out well with a 2208 1350kv motor and planning to put the esc inside the bottom of the cowl (battery is pretty close to centered on the cg). still a few tweaks to the patterns but should be ready to crash...er... maiden her if the weather cooperates this week. was lazy and just glued the wings without checking the dihedral angle. I'm thinking they're a bit flat....
