And did some things to get ready for LEDs

One of these had pieces going from the center skewer to the others. (creating a closed triangle.) now it doesn't.
I don't think the wing needed the added strength and this will allow the LED to light it up better.

So what to do tonight? Polyurethane on the Zero? More paint and more assembly of the DR1? Start with some paint on the Sea Duck? Build the Y power cable for the Sea Duck? Starting cutting out the P36? hmmm... yes, yes, maybe, yes, maybe :p

Too many projects in the works. Unfortunately it's looking like you'll need to leave the hobby. We'll miss you.

why not you do builduary?
oh wait a minute
My build season list is as follows.
1. I'm gonna build all the planes.
2. I'll keep them a secret for fear of criticism. (I'm sensitive.)
3. I'll keep coming here to make irrelevant comments on other people's threads because I think I'm funny and I need attention.

I can only get maybe two planes in line at a time!
1. Right now I'm at 75% on the FB2 - FreezerBurn II. Can't wait for good snow!
2. I'm lately real interested in the Grumman Widgeon. Been drawing that up to run in snow, but if I don't build it in time for this winter it'll still land great on the grass. At least better than a belly lander, the props will be up out of harm's way.
3. Ideas for other planes never stop, right?

Yeah because I can build one plane in four months, not four planes in one month.

Maybe I'm too hard on myself. I'm in it for the build as much as anything else. If I built them that fast I'd have to throw out a plane every week. I'd rather savor the designing and the building processes.
I do so enjoy the designing. I've just had a few planes on the "I wanna build me one of those" list for a while - also been short on the motivation for the last few months with work. So I needed a kick in the behind and buildruary just seemed like the thing to do it. I must say it did work so far - I just gotta take a break when its over so I don't burn out on something I enjoy! I'll probably switch into another design and take my sweet old time with it:p

For sure. Worst thing for me is if I feel rushed I make mistakes and do shoddy work.
Good news: The FreezerBurn2 is in runnable condition now, and I'm about to start cutting parts for the next build. Let's see if I get a second reasonably good snow this year. (y)
