Fly yes... land no.
Good Thursday morning everyone.
First order of business
The Flite Fest 2016 website has been revamped. Check it out. http://flitefest.com/
You people are amazing!
We are very quickly filling in the slots but I hope to recruit more help in the month of June.
I still need a full parking shift, camping site teams, family tent help and some muscle to support the general duty positions.
I will send out a list later in June highlighting your roles and timings. (All subject to change)
On Tuesday (31 May) I have to submit the shirt tally to Flite Test so they can place the order.
If you've not submitted your request to me by then I'm randomly assigning you a size.
No just kidding.
We will make sure we have enough shirts on hand but please do try and let me know.
If you have signed up for a build session please let me know your timings so I can ensure you are not slotted into a volunteer position at the same time.
If any of your friends are on the fence about helping out as a volunteer tell them that being a volunteer is a great way to meet new people.
This year's scheduling philosophy does mean we need more volunteers but it ultimately decreases the work everyone has to do and increases the fun team aspect of it.
Plus there is only one way to get a sweet limited edition orange shirt!
A humble thank you, I've received a ton of nice emails in the past two weeks.
I can't wait to talk to all of you in July.
Everyone have a safe long weekend in the US.
Have fun building and flying.
