First and obvious is to plug the fc into the computer to make sure it works as well as to flash it to current firmware.

Ohh.. oops.. I had replied flight controller much earlier.. I didnt hit the enter key or I did and it didt take to post it sorry mate. And yes the one I used was the mamba F405 v2 stack which was a matched flight controller and 4 in one esc

No one "sold" the drone. I chose what parts to use, I put them together, and I did all the work to write this entire post with ALL the information to use by anyone who wants to do a build. I gave that quad away to a friend here on the forums.

I have another sitting on the table next to me since last November waiting for me to get the motivation for finish it. All in all it does not matter what parts are used the process is exactly the same no matter what size or power train you choose.
