I could simply throw a 4S battery into it too but the newer Propdrive V2's are not as strong as the older NTM Propdrive and like to do smoke shows on 4S.

Propdrive 2836 2700kv

I run that on 4s with a 5x5 pusher. Its definitely made for fast and light airplanes. Id try a low kv 3530 or something like that with a big prop.

My power setup is nothing crazy. 2205 2400kv t motor on a 4s 650 with a 5040 cyclone. Definitely sufficient tho

I ended up removing my landing gear, I used too big of wire and wheels and as a result it was just too heavy and made rolls too difficult.

What size wire is everyone using for landing gear? I've got her flying great now but want to add some gear..

I believe I'm running 2mm.

The only tip that comes to mind is, build light and the stol characteristics will really shine

@The Hangar likes the Kitfox so much that he wants a back pack version... Just don't think the rimfire will fit in there though
