Tiny Trainer motor question

Hello,

I'm new to the hobby and building a Tiny Trainer.

Would this be a good motor for it?

It's already on the power pod, but I figured I'd better ask before the maiden.

Will use this prop: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-6050-bullnose-pc-propellers-cw-ccw-black-1-pair.html
and a 2S 800-1000MAh. Then upgrade to the 3S

that motor should work just fine...it is important on the TT to have the right down thrust angle or she will porpoise on you. The props should work as well...but you don't need the CW one, just the CCW.

Happy flying, the TT is a very versatile bird.

I would bail on the 2s idea and just do 3s. Unless you really trying to go light weight for super slow speed, I would start with 3s. If your worried about your throttle happy thumb like mine you can always lower throttle range with your transmitter till you have experience. Just my opinion. And yes, that motor should work just fine.

Thanks for the replies!

I have already soldered the connectors to the ESC and motor and advanced a little on the build today.

Jack, doesnt it have to go sideways to the right if looked from behind?

kdobson83 I have an 800 and a 1000 2s and also a 1000 3s ready... Will take all to the field and see how it goes with both voltages.
