Hey @nerdnic I have a couple questions, do you think I will be fine with metal gear 9g servos for my 800spit? Also is the 800spit designed to have flaps? I don't see the cut out for them.
If anyone else has any ideas I would like their input too!

Yes, those servos will work great!

And I don’t believe his 800 series use flaps.

Okay, because he said in his speed wing video he said 12g for over 100mph, but that could have been just for his bigger ones like the p - 39 with 40" wing span.

so I tried a 9x6 prop on the 3536 1800kv motor with a 100a esc and a 4s 2200mah 50C battery, and I get to about 3/4 throttle then it starts surging.... do you guys know why? ( tried it with a 4s 85C 850 mah and it was worse (though I think that battery is in worse condition) it would get to about 1/2 throttle and the power would fall off)

Hmmm, sounds like battery issues. @nerdnic ought to know.

Can you describe what happens in more detail? When you say surging I think jitter/pulsing which would be an esc issue. But then you mentioned power falling off, like rpm dropping, that's different and is definitely a battery issue.

I don't think there is a 850mah battery in existence that can power a 3536 1800 4s with a 9x6 prop. I ran my prop drive 3536 1800 on 4s with a 7x7 and it would pull 80amps. A 2200mah graphene can just barely handle that, any smaller mah and you're gonna smoke your battery quick.

Its not the battery, he bought another different one and it works great! My 850mah battery is 85C. I think its the timing, cell cut off and its set for low rpms. the real problem is that it won't save the settings that I set!
