I would not recommend using the 3548 prop drive with a 800 series. I use that motor on my full size but the biggest I'd suggest is 3536 for 800 series because any bigger (heavier) and you'll struggle to balance it properly.

I couldn’t make the 3542 work?

Then get the Propdrive 3536 1800kv motor for the spit. You'll get some insane speed with it.
Well I am trying to get a motor for both the spit and the corsair...... I don't think I will have torque issues because for the spit I will be use my gyro (I don't trust myself with that speeeeed without it) I am will to go less than 120mph if I can get a motor that will work with both.

The 3542 only weighs 10 grams more than the powerdrive 3536. I don't think that's enough difference to throw the balance off.

Right,(I hope that it retires from old age though. lol) I want a power house that will work well with both. The 3548 weighs 59grams more than the 3536 so I might start having balance problems as Nerdnic pointed out.
