I'm not entirely qualified to give advice so I'm not sure what to say now.
A bigger plane would use a bigger prop which would use a lower kv motor. Like on a C pack for larger planes the recommended is around 1000kv with a 10x4.5 prop. For small F pack planes 2200 kv is recommended with a 6x4 prop.

If you want to build bigger planes I would get a C pack. You would get that extra oomf too since a C pack is more powerful than a B pack

That motor with a 9x4.5 prop will work very well on the cub. Like @Timmy said, it'll have a little more power than a normal c pack but that's not a bad thing.

So a 1400kv motor is fine with a 9x4.5 prop?
Yes - here's the spec chart for the motor:

So on a 3s lipo, you'll be getting 910 grams of thrust with a 9 inch prop.
