You gotta make it all foamboard for us who want it easier to fix when we crash. There are not enough foamboard 3D planes out there!
What's the fun in that,:LOL: , complicated repairs will increase your skills. :) .

Or don't crash !!!!!!

Really price wise it is a couple bucks extra but more time consuming. I was thinking about the wing yesterday and when you said no Depron and given not many people have this 1mm thin stuff but what about poster board instead and then either iron on covering or wing tape? The 1mm Depron is not strong at all, you have to really be careful you don't poke your finger through but like on that baron wing I did I covered it with wing tape and it is now strong.

Oh, side tracked, control horns should be good to go. Just waiting on the printer so I can print them and try it out. I made a little test hinge piece to see how they fit and what is the max angle I can get. I think I should be able to go up to 75 degrees angle either way.
Fancy one in the middle is for the rudder and it will be a pull pull setup.

Vertical and horizontal going together :) , next do I feel like sanding the control surfaces to a taper or trying to roll the fuse on . 1st couple pictures are just dry fitted, fuse has to go on before they can be installed.

Control surfaces are sanded to a taper, drew a line 5mm away from the hinge line so I knew where to stop sanding so I still had full thickness at the edge. Turned out pretty good I think. Now under the press and let them cure and then the balsa hinge strips can go on and then they can get covered.

Dry fitting the fuse/skin. Back section almost perfect but will need a slight adjustment. Nose or front section is not being friendly, most of the issues I think is it trying to get that little bump out where the engine cylinders would be. I think if I take that little portion out of the equation I think it will be good, I can roll a small piece for it at the end. Then to make it even easier to roll out is remove the wing cut out and once the fuse is together I can just trace my wings and then cut it out.

The control surfaces turned out really nice.
Now to go pick up some more foam. :)
