Not that I'm aware of . . . but if you're there, and they're there, you could just walk up and ask. I don't know of a single individual on that list that isn't approachable and wouldn't love to chat away one-on-one about the details and then you'd get YOUR question answered.

We are toying with the idea of "build clinics", but that's more of a way to match up "want to build" people with "know how to build" people, rather than a technique review . . . but with 30-ish models in the store, in plans, and in build videos, even that may be interest driven for each airframe, and may not happen if we (probably meaning me) can't get it organized.

No two ways about it. There's gonna be a LOT of cool stuff going on :)

its not like seff. there is some night flying but nothing like seff

My biggest problem with night flying at Flite Fest is the time of Sunset and Sunrise. The days are so long at this time of year in that location that you do not have a lot of time to fly in the dark and get sleep. This year, Sunrise at Flite Fest will be at about 6:03am and Sunset will be at 8:57pm (times given for July 11, 2015). Give it about an hour after sunset and an hour before Sunrise and you have the hours of good darkness for night flying from about 10pm to 5am.

But then, I guess that may work for you if you do not get up with the sun (which I do when camping).

I don't know how many hours I slept last year, but it wasn't many! There was night flying and it was cool to see, particular the big Old Fogey in the rain until the wings folded! If you want to fly at night, from what I've seen, have at it! No noisier than those generators, for sure. I out-snored them, I'm told. :D

My camping question is, " I have a friend who is following me to ff15 and only wants to stay one night and I am staying 2 nights, can he park his pickup at my campsite or does he have to get his own site? we can park really close together... "

What parts will be availabe to purchase on-site?

Being a sloppy planner (although I was one of the first to register), I am unable to purchase certain items in time for FliteFest.

Will there be equipment/parts to buy on-site?

I need a bunch of Emax ES9051 servos and (this may be impossible) a 4-channel 72MHz JR-style receiver.

So what is the 4-1-1 on available electronics for sale?

Lots of venders on site. I didn't buy any components like that last year, but I'm sure they will be available.

72MHz hardware...

Ack, Among other items I plan to sell at my campsite "garage" sale, is a complete set of Futaba Conquest 72MHz hardware, in box, never used, which includes a FP-R127DF Rx. But since I'm no expert, I'm not sure if that fits your requirement for a "JR-style" Rx, or if you'd be interested in a full set of Tx/Rx/servos... since I don't want to split the set.

You had over 700 flyers the first year. You have been promoting it for a year. Pictuers and videos have been out there for a year.
What makes you think it might not more than double this year?

How early will registration start on Friday?
Do you expect as long lines this year?
Is on-site registration necessary for pre-registered people?
