So was out flying in some strong winds today with the versa wing. Was all good until I decided to dive the trees and didn't pull up in time haha. I think it was a combination of wind gust and not seeing the very top of the tree on my tiny 5" screen.
Hence climbing the tree to recover it.
Videos a touch long as I was doing a vlog type thing for some friends, the tree incident starts at 6:20.

Can't wait to start my new build in NZ when I get there, it's going to be a hotwire cut wing with a composite outer layup, should cut through the wind nicely!
Will be doing a build log of the process once I get started.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
