Hi Josh

Great Work you did on this Scratch-build! :)

Im asking if it wouldnt be better to put a 6mm carbon tube instead of the double glued foam stringer.
Or will it get too heavy.

Thanks for your Reply

Love your crazy Vids :))

There's plenty of strength in the wing as is, no need for carbon reinforcement.

A few strategically placed barbeque skewers will do wonders for the tail surfaces, though, especially the vertical stablilizers.

Hey all

At home I got NTM Prop Drive Series 28-30 1200kv / 400w 30A ESC, 10x5 prop and 3s 2200mAh battery. Is this set up too much for this plane?

Thanks

The Battery's a little bit on the heavy side, but the plane should be able to carry it. Motor and ESC seem fine to me, the bloody wonder should be abler to handle them just fine. This is one of those planes that can be flown with a wide variety of power plants, depending on the skill of the pilot.

The question is whether you can handle the plane with a relatively heavy, high power-ish setup or if you'd rather invest in a second power pod with a lighter, more docile loadout first. The bigger power pod will slot in just fine afterwards.

Battery choice?

Hey guys i have two 3s lipos. A 1500mah and 2200mah. Assuming running at a 60% throttle on a 300watt motor, what flight time can i expect from bw

jason51873: Do you have the STL files for that NACA duct, and would you mind sharing? That's an impressive setup, and it looks great!
