Hi,
Have had my first rc plane for a while now (P-51d ultra micro), and while I am not currently looking for a new plane, I suspect I will in the near future and would like some input from people with experience. Sorry if I have missed anything, this is my first time posting and just made my account. Some planes which I have been looking at include the UMX pitts, UMX waco, and the UMX sbach.

How good are you at flying the mustang? If your comfortable with that, then that really widens the thype of planes open to you. I would get a acrobatic plane , like the pitts or sbach, as that should be a good challenge for yoir skills. BTW welcome to the forum, could you tell us a little more aboit yourself?

The UMX Sbach is discontinued but really wouldn't have been a good second plane. It's more intermediate to advanced. I've owned 2 of them. Between the Pitts and Waco, I'd say Waco because it's newer, larger wingspan, uses a slightly larger battery, slightly heavier AUW, and may be better suited as a second plane than the Pitts. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Another UMX that takes the same kind of battery is always a good idea. Given you're confortable with the p51 most planes will be a good choice. You could always try an FT build and see how you like it. One learns a lot from building and repairing.

Thanks everyone for all of the replies, so i have narrowed them down to either the pitts or waco. Any thoughts on them? Have heard countless arguments for both planes.

Waco for sure. It will handle much better. The Waco is less aggressive, where the Pitts can be a very challenging plane.
