In the air you can easily fly with throtte/aileron/elevator as your 3 channels, however on the ground you really need the rudder.

@jpot1 , where would the cg be on this? I finally got around to building one, everything fits together nicely, but I don’t see a cg location anywhere.

@Paracodespoder glad you built one. Hope it flys well for you. CG is 210mm back from where the wing hits the fuse.

Thank you, I went out in the snow with an estimated cg, and it flew really well. However, there was a very strong wind and long story short I now have a crumpled nose and reinforced section where the wing meets the fuse 🙄.

With the motor in the back the esc must be far back as well. How did you get the 3 wires from the motor to the ESC?

I bought some 18 gauge automotive wire and soldered up three 14inch motor to esc extensions with 2mm bullet connectors.

Thanks, found and esc from another plane that has 12 inch leads from the ESC to the motor. Guess I am OK.

Yes the nacelle and vstab has a channel and I ran extended wires all the way up front to the hatch area. I’m able to swap the esc in and out that way. Post some pics of your build!

My advise is to get electronics in it before gluing it all together.the motor pod isn’t really accessible to get the wires down after it’s all glued up.
