Simple FPV

Good one Nene, not a dumb question at all, clever thinking.
I suppose its because I already have such a tripod for photography.
And it is very compact for carrying it around.

My fpv flying is max 1.5 km and therefore not so relaxing.
Sometimes I must change to LOS flying and must look around.
When you fly long range you might want to sit down I guess..

A dumb question, but anyway... Why do (almost) all of you FPVers use a tripod stand? Isn't it easier (and cheaper) to put the display somewhere in the height of your eyesight on a bench, table or something?

Probably because of the portability.
