With a bit of juggling, all the foamboard pieces fit on two sheets, now to stick them down.

Unfortunately, the top of my 3M spray mount broke and started squirting out without control.
I'll get a new can tomorrow morning.

Templates stuck down, EDF should be arriving tomorrow, 50-60mph winds and rain due on Sunday, a good time to build I think. Tomorrow in indoor flying day

Already mucked up the top deck, stuck it too far forward and so have cut it again.

Did a little more this evening, attachments for the canopy, spars on wings, bevels on wing cut and hot glued hinged, added a couple of thin carbon fiber re-enforcements into the little tips of the horizontal stabilizer they looked so weak.

Bit more done tonight, waiting for the ESC to turn up before I finish it off.

Now thinking about a colour scheme 😀

The UK air force has never flown the L-39. Was thinking of a Czech scheme...

Oh, suggestion for the plans, a note saying that when you need to cut two of something the second needs to be a mirror image of the first

That's a pretty scheme! I was thinking, paint it in the red arrows scheme, wouldn't be 100% scale but it might be cool...
