I am in awe of not only the quality of these designs but the speed of their completion; hats off to Alp.

The spar on the horizontal stabilizer is that recessed into the foam? Can you show pics of your underside views? I'm loving this build!

No, it is not recessed. I couldn't. if you can it will better. I was cut out and remove. After glued with cyanoacrylate.

A-Fold or B-Fold?

On the B page of the plans, you show a short power pod.

The pod graphic indicates we are supposed to use a B-Fold, but from looking at the graphic, it LOOKS like an A-Fold.

Am I reading this wrong? It's my understanding that with an A-Fold the side pieces sit ABOVE the bottom plate, B-Fold the side pieces sit BESIDE the bottom plate.

I've been looking for a good DTFB plan, and this seems to be EXACTLY what I was looking for!!
Thank you VERY much!

Maybe some close-ups of the landing gear please. Again, thank you so much for the share. Got the wings cut last night and am adding a aluminum spar 1/16x1/2x34" sandwiched between the foam spars. Very minimal wieght. (NerdNic style)

Alp, these designs are fantastically engineered. You NEED to write an article for these things to get them out there.

No need aluminium spar or balsa as i did. Did you notice? Wing was a bit thick. And it was very strong with dtfb spar.
OK I will photograph landing gear a little later.

That gear design is pretty creative. Have you considered making them removable? The gear could be held in with velcro straps instead of hot glue and could be pulled off for a "clean" flight.

Thank you Alp. And how about the tail gear? Hope these question are a bother. I always want to try out new and inovative ways of doing things. Cheers!!

Alp- your designs are incredible! Printed and ready for cutting...
One question- It appears that the elevator is split. Maybe I am not seeing something it clearly but the are two side sides connected with a "shaft" of some sort? I see the rudder push-rod on one side. It the elevator pushrod on the other side below the vertical control surface?
Thanks!
