It doesn't matter. I don't remember any of them being specifically tree-resistant.![]()
Oh no.When I was 10, a friend told me helicopters were known as 'Choppers' because some were designed to literally chop their way through forests. The motions he was making with his arms make it clear to me as well that looking back, he did not mean those saw columns that helicopters carry, he meant they did it with their 'blades'. 😂
Sphere shaped things as it turns out, do not fall out of trees easier. Got a plane in a tree one time, and I threw a soccer ball at it. The ball got stuck right above it 🤣Oh no.
I was thinking more along the lines of a plane shaped like a sphere, so it'll fall out of trees better.
These look fantastic! Well, the Disney one still looks dumb but the build, fit & finish is fantastic.Been working on these and for sure this is the best they will ever look. My planes don't always look this good when I come back from flying.
1. Turbo Bushwacker with 3" longer nose to fix the tail heavy problem, also added tri-cycle landing gear and didn't use a power pod but instead added a 3D printed Firewall.
2. 137% upscaled FT Duster, again no power pod but added a 3D Printed Firewall
3. FT Mini Scout
Thanks, I actually like building them more than flying them.. LOL..These look fantastic! Well, the Disney one still looks dumb but the build, fit & finish is fantastic.
Really, really nice planes.
Very nice builds! I especially like the Duster. Disney is almost a cool as Charles Schultz.Been working on these and for sure this is the best they will ever look. My planes don't always look this good when I come back from flying.

It flys so much better than the regular bushwacker, very stable. By removing the powerpod, (and its weight) and adding a 3D printed screw on front firewall, it gave me room for a nose gear, and allows me plenty of room to use larger size batteries without having to stuff them in the bottom. Also the longer nose lets me move the battery forward a bit, because it appears that I am not the only one that found the Bushwacker to be a bit tail heavy. Even if I was to build another regular Bushwacker with powerpod, I would figure out how to extend the nose at least 2", but that is just me.h
how well does the turbo bushwacker fly??
I love the aluminum covering. Is that aluminum foil? It's a speedbuild kit - took me a month though.
